Clatie "Marie" Arnold, 88, passed away on January 10, 2017.
Marie was born on October 2, 1928 to Jesse and Irene Broussard, the third to youngest of 10 children. She was raised in High Island, Texas.
On May 27, 1946 she married Lloyd H. Arnold in 1953 they moved to Conroe, Texas where they raised two daughters. Marie worked for Conroe ISD as a cafeteria manager for 20 years while Lloyd worked for Sun Oil Company for 38 years.
After retirement they traveled extensively through the United States including two road trips to Alaska. They both enjoyed stopping at casinos along the way.
After moving to Lake Victor in 1986, Marie was a member of the Lake Victor Extension Club where she made many dear friends, particularly, Dortha Collins who lived across the street.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd H. Arnold; daughter, Vivian Dodson; grandson, Mica Dodson; five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Beierle and husband Robert of Burnet; grandson, Wes Dodson of Burnet; grandson, Damon Beierle of Burnet; grandson, Brian Beierle of New York; great grandchildren, Darien Dodson, Alyssa Brown, Brant Brown, Tatum Beierle and Talan Beierle; three sisters, Hazel Holt, Thelma Fisher and Vera Brown.
