Esther Helen Taff, 82, of Kingsland, Texas passed away on February 23, 2016. She was born to John Walter and Fannie Beulah (Crisp) Penny on April 4, 1933 in Coleman, Oklahoma.

Esther was a very kind hearted Christian woman and helped a lot of people along the way. She was a nurse for over 32 years which says a lot about her character.

She is survived by her sons, Clint Taff and his wife Mary of Box Springs, Texas, Harold Taff and his wife Rainy of Hopkins, Texas, daughters, Tina Marie Taff and her companion Warren Alexander of Kingsland, Texas and Cynthia Sims of Kingsland, Texas, sister, Louise Taff of Caddo Mills, Texas and a niece, Vanessa Taff-Tate and her husband Bobby of Caddo Mills, Texas, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Charles Penny, great granddaughter, Candace Davis, niece, Cathy Taff adn brother-in-law Javan Taff

A funeral service is planned for 2:30 oclock P.M., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Putnam Funeral Home Chapel, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas, with interment to follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Park Road 4, Burnet, Texas.
