Marilyn Quong Taylor, 69, of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas passed away on July 21, 2017. She was born to James L. and Jennie Lou (Grey) Quong on June 17, 1948 in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

After attending college, Marilyn became a secretary. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed doing artwork.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas, son, Brian Taylor of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas, sister, Susanne Wagoner of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas and one grandchild.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Quong.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Putnam Funeral Home and Crematory, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas. A funeral service is planned for 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 601 N. Wood Street, Burnet, Texas. Private family interment will follow.
