Ruth Jayne June McGaugh was born on February 10, 1945 and went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2015. She was 70 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father Carl Rickard Jones, her mother Winnie Allen Jones, and husband Robert Tally.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Pleasant David (Dave) McGaugh; sister Elizabeth (BJ) Burton; son Russell Vincent Tally and wife Kim, and their children Tristian, Shelby, Devon, and Rylee; son Patrick McGaugh and sons Darius and Conner; daughter Jackie Morrison and her children Amanda, Patrick and wife Jennifer, and great grandchildren Mia and Addison; daughter Barbara McGaugh, her son Daniel and wife Jessica, and their daughter Makayla.
She graduated from Marble Falls High School in the class of 1963, attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and then attended UT Arlington North Texas State.
She came to Marble Falls in 1951. She joined the Methodist Church with her parents, and she was a life-long member. She was a stay at home housewife and homemaker until her death.
She played the clarinet in the Marble Falls High School band. She also played the piano very well, and played at home, at weddings, and at other functions in the community. She was a photographer and painter, among her many other talents.
She loved her Lord and her family, especially her darling David.
Visitation will be on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Services will be at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls on Monday March 16, 2015 at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
